Early Outfits

In this outfit; Red ladybug shirt;Target, Black vest; Brother's closet:), Red converse; Salva, Red umbrella; Harrisburg science shop lol
This is one of my first "cool" outfits. I decided to post this, because it shows an ensemble that I was really proud of. the picture directly above was in Style Watch in out local newspaper. This was also one of my first attempts of modeling. The umbrella I saw at a science shop, among spiders and bees. But I really like ladybugs, so I got it for Christmas. Do you ever find out what you're getting for Christmas or your birthday? You get this awful feeling in your stomach, and you want to forget it, but you can't! I hateit when that happens! I remember one year I knew that I was getting colored pencils for my birthday (way back in my life when I was moving up from crayons) And I did that fake excited thing when I opened them. But anyway, soem of you were asking if I was related to Adela from http://pinkchampagnefashion.blogspot.com/ . We are sisters. Thanks for checking my blog out!

Please comment and become my fan!

Thanks to everyone who is now following me! Thanks to everyone who commented!

The computer hasn't been letting me post pictures, so I was really glad when it finally worked!

The outfit I am wearing I had on for my sister PinkChampagne's ( http://pinkchampagnefashion.blogspot.com/) birthday. We went to this great shop MissRuth'sTimeBomb. It was fun even though none of us bought anything. The dressing room caught my other sister's eye, and she took a photo shoot. Those are always so fun! Dave(one of the owners boyfriend) was taking care of the store, and was probably wondering why in the world we were taking so long not even trying stuff on. Poor Dave! But it was fun, and Adela got some pictures of her outfit too. This post is really short, so soon I will have to write up another. Probably the next time I get a new good picture!
Please commenton this, follow me, and I will follow you too!
Thank you Maria for taking my pictures!
Peace, JoJo

Embrace Your Inner Nerd

This being my first post, I think I should start by introducing myself. My name is JoJo, and I am 12 years old. I have two older sisters, and a little brother. I also have two turtles names Huss and Tyndale. My dad named them. Obviously! My mom and siblings were campaigning for cute names like Tartlet, and Peeleg. But he said that if we wanted to keep them, he would name them. They are so cute.

Anyway, this is obviously a fashion blog. Or at least most of it will be. I am thinking I might also put up some sketches I've drawn, mainly doodles, and some inspirational photographs. I have been debating about getting a blog for a few months, but finally gave in. This is a great way for me to get all the attention I "need". My mom would probably roll her eyes at that, but any other girl who has been 12-16 with in the last 20 years knows what I'm talking about.

My style is mainly retro and modern. I like to sometimes incorperate a few vintage pieces into my emsemble, but even though I love vintage, I can't usuallly pull it off. As a young fashionista, my style isn't yet at its' peak. I know I still have that "middle school" aspect about me. If it wasn't for having Pink_Champagne as my sister, I probably would be a mega Aberzombie. But luckily I'm not!

As you can see from this pictue I decided to post first, I like hats. A lot. They are like the one accesorie i would choose on a desert island. I only have about 5, but if you keep looking at my pictures as I put them up, you will notice that in about half my outfits I use one.

I love rummage sales and salvation army. They are the most wonderous places to spend that $101 from Christmas. They have tons of great things (even though you often have to search) and they are so cheap. Do you know anyone else who has gotten an authentic LV bag for 50 cents??? Yup, that would be me!

I have lately gotten into a slight punk fase. At least I like punk clothes. If you have ever watched Mirror Mask, I love the outfits the evil girl wears at the end. They are sooo what I would wear if i could find some stuff cheap that was like that.

Some of these outfits you will see you might hate. But please still comment and tell me what you would change and why you don't like my outfit. I appreciate negative feedback!

Not that I don't love positive comments. Those are my fave type!!

Anyways, now to explain my outfit. I got the shirt because I needed it for chior. I think I got it at Target. The jeans are (unluckily) from Walmart. That is the only place my mom will let me buy them. But then again, a growing (quickly!) almost teen doesn't need designer jeans she'll wear for 9 months! I "temporarily borrowed" the suspenders from my brother. I also did that to his vest. And hopefully to a tie of his if I get my hands on it. Don't worry; he never wears any of them! The Converse I got at Salva for about a buck. I got it ina $3 bag along with some other stuff. I know. One dollar. I actually think they are guy converse, because they are size 5 and a teeny big. I wear about size 6 1/2.

Anyway, I appreciate any feedback you are willing to give!

Thanks for checking out my page!
