In this outfit: Totally Vintage!!

This is my great aunt's wedding dress. She actually gave it to me!! She had bought it when my great aunt and uncle were planning on getting married, but then, since he was going off to war (idk which one it was...) they just had a quick marriage without a ceremony. They always planned on having a traditional wedding one day, but it never happened! When we were down in Florida, she got out a bunch of vintage things of hers. My sister Adela could fit into them, but they were really big for me. She let me try the wedding dress on, and Maria took me outside and had a quick photo shoot. When I got back inside, she said I could keep it!! She is soo sweet!
(Also in the top pic you might notice a ring on my left ring finger. It was a ring Maria was wearing that she put on me to make me look "brideish")

In this outfit: Red poufe headband, Miss Ruths Time Bomb; Black cardigan, Target; Red HK shirt, Target; Gray skirt, Old Navy; Black tights; Red Converse, Salva

I took these pictures at my brother's Cub Scout meeting. We went to some Methodist church, and they had this really cute display. I took them really quickly before the little sisters got here (ages 3-6) because I always end up playing with them, so it would be hard to take pictures when the were hanging onto me. The are so cute! In the middle pic you see Bella in the backround. I also took them fast because there are a bunch of obnoxious 6-10 year old boys. that is why they aren't that great. I took about 20, and these are the only ones that weren't tooo horrible!

I like this outfit because it is so frilly. When I first wore it I had on stilettos with bows and a little clutch with a bow on it. I didn't wear this because my dad would probably make me change. Wearing stilettos and a skirt to cubscouts would be kinda dangerous.

Thanks for looking at my blog. Please leave comments and Vote on my poll!

I know. This post is kinda dull and depressing. I drained most of the color out of the pictures to make it look more "gothish". My sister and I went to the grave yard to take these pics. I know that I am really really scared of graveyards, but she practicly forced me! We finaly found a monument that was "In Memory" of someone, and looked too shiny to be from 1887. I am hoping that that Mr. and Mrs. Worthington weren't buried under there!!!! This outfit isn't that interesting, so before you vote on my poll (Please vote on my poll!!) look at my other outfits. Thanks a bunch!

Changed my layout!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have changed my layout. The mint green was gettting boring! I also hav up a poll. Please vote on it and let me know what you think.

Plaid and Fluffy

In this outfit: Gold Earrings; Claires, Plaid Shirt; Salva, Grey Skirt; Old Navy, Calvin Klein Shoes; Rummage Sale
I've been feeling really lazy lately, so I havn' t put up a post for a little while. On Monday, I went shopping and got a new swimsui, some skinny jeans, and this grey skirt. I really liked the skirt, so I wanted to come up with an outfit. This is something I came up with really quickly, so excuse my semi messy hair. All the pictures were taken by my awesome sister Maria! Thanks to those of you who have followed me and commented!

The Legend of Facepaint

In this outfit: Lots and lots of facepaint!!

My friend, Pansyberry, had to do an art project for school. So, she decided to make it interesting and use my face as a pallet. She was doing her painting of ancient myths about the beginning of the world. We took about four and a half hours not including a lunch brake. My sister took some closeups of some of the parts I really liked. The one of my chin shows both the little cave drawings and the tree. I love how she had the leaves being blown across my lips, that was my mom's favorite part. After she was finished, I went sledding on a college campus downtown. It was so funny to see people's faces as I walked by. One girl asked me "I don't mean to intrude, but why are you wearing that. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to..." It was funny and I think I laughed out loud! I had to take if off before I went to bed that night, but I wished I could have kept it on my face for a few days and gone to Walmart or something really big like that. I was joking with my sister, and I said I would put of a ski mast and walk up to some little kid and rip off the mask and yell "RAAAH!" I would never do that, though. Little kids are too cute. Anyway, thanks to all of you guys who have become my fan or commented on prior posts. I hope my next one will actually have an outfit on it, but I couldn't resist putting this up.

IIn this outfit: Red Hearts Dress; Salva, Black Legging; Target, Red Hair Bow; TJMax, Black Flats; Salva
This is just a little sketch I did a few weeks ago. I thought it was cute, so I decided to put it up. What do you think?

Here are some more pictures of the outfit. I took these at my piano teachers house. She has a great backyard for pictures. I just love this rotten stump, even though it took forever to get into a pose without falling off! Thank you all for checking out my blog. Please comment, follow, and enjoy!

Early Outfits

In this outfit; Red ladybug shirt;Target, Black vest; Brother's closet:), Red converse; Salva, Red umbrella; Harrisburg science shop lol
This is one of my first "cool" outfits. I decided to post this, because it shows an ensemble that I was really proud of. the picture directly above was in Style Watch in out local newspaper. This was also one of my first attempts of modeling. The umbrella I saw at a science shop, among spiders and bees. But I really like ladybugs, so I got it for Christmas. Do you ever find out what you're getting for Christmas or your birthday? You get this awful feeling in your stomach, and you want to forget it, but you can't! I hateit when that happens! I remember one year I knew that I was getting colored pencils for my birthday (way back in my life when I was moving up from crayons) And I did that fake excited thing when I opened them. But anyway, soem of you were asking if I was related to Adela from http://pinkchampagnefashion.blogspot.com/ . We are sisters. Thanks for checking my blog out!

The Green Screen

In this outfit: Brown boots; Salva, Brown shirt; My sister, Red coat; TJMax, Purple cardigan; Salva, Silver spoonring; My great aunt.

Thanks to everyone who is now following me! Thanks to everyone who commented!

The computer hasn't been letting me post pictures, so I was really glad when it finally worked!

The outfit I am wearing I had on for my sister PinkChampagne's ( http://pinkchampagnefashion.blogspot.com/) birthday. We went to this great shop MissRuth'sTimeBomb. It was fun even though none of us bought anything. The dressing room caught my other sister's eye, and she took a photo shoot. Those are always so fun! Dave(one of the owners boyfriend) was taking care of the store, and was probably wondering why in the world we were taking so long not even trying stuff on. Poor Dave! But it was fun, and Adela got some pictures of her outfit too. This post is really short, so soon I will have to write up another. Probably the next time I get a new good picture!
Please commenton this, follow me, and I will follow you too!
Thank you Maria for taking my pictures!
Peace, JoJo

Embrace Your Inner Nerd

This being my first post, I think I should start by introducing myself. My name is JoJo, and I am 12 years old. I have two older sisters, and a little brother. I also have two turtles names Huss and Tyndale. My dad named them. Obviously! My mom and siblings were campaigning for cute names like Tartlet, and Peeleg. But he said that if we wanted to keep them, he would name them. They are so cute.

Anyway, this is obviously a fashion blog. Or at least most of it will be. I am thinking I might also put up some sketches I've drawn, mainly doodles, and some inspirational photographs. I have been debating about getting a blog for a few months, but finally gave in. This is a great way for me to get all the attention I "need". My mom would probably roll her eyes at that, but any other girl who has been 12-16 with in the last 20 years knows what I'm talking about.

My style is mainly retro and modern. I like to sometimes incorperate a few vintage pieces into my emsemble, but even though I love vintage, I can't usuallly pull it off. As a young fashionista, my style isn't yet at its' peak. I know I still have that "middle school" aspect about me. If it wasn't for having Pink_Champagne as my sister, I probably would be a mega Aberzombie. But luckily I'm not!

As you can see from this pictue I decided to post first, I like hats. A lot. They are like the one accesorie i would choose on a desert island. I only have about 5, but if you keep looking at my pictures as I put them up, you will notice that in about half my outfits I use one.

I love rummage sales and salvation army. They are the most wonderous places to spend that $101 from Christmas. They have tons of great things (even though you often have to search) and they are so cheap. Do you know anyone else who has gotten an authentic LV bag for 50 cents??? Yup, that would be me!

I have lately gotten into a slight punk fase. At least I like punk clothes. If you have ever watched Mirror Mask, I love the outfits the evil girl wears at the end. They are sooo what I would wear if i could find some stuff cheap that was like that.

Some of these outfits you will see you might hate. But please still comment and tell me what you would change and why you don't like my outfit. I appreciate negative feedback!

Not that I don't love positive comments. Those are my fave type!!

Anyways, now to explain my outfit. I got the shirt because I needed it for chior. I think I got it at Target. The jeans are (unluckily) from Walmart. That is the only place my mom will let me buy them. But then again, a growing (quickly!) almost teen doesn't need designer jeans she'll wear for 9 months! I "temporarily borrowed" the suspenders from my brother. I also did that to his vest. And hopefully to a tie of his if I get my hands on it. Don't worry; he never wears any of them! The Converse I got at Salva for about a buck. I got it ina $3 bag along with some other stuff. I know. One dollar. I actually think they are guy converse, because they are size 5 and a teeny big. I wear about size 6 1/2.

Anyway, I appreciate any feedback you are willing to give!

Thanks for checking out my page!

Follow me for updates on my style and I will follow you.

p.s. my goal for the end of the year is to have 50 followers, and an approximate of 30 comments per post. help me fulfill that goal!
